Gestating and lactating cats may consume up to three times as much food as adult cats. Kittens will nibble solid foods at 3-4 weeks of age, but moistened feed should be made available at a minimum of 4 times per day. At 6-8 weeks, kittens can transition to dry feed or continue with moistened as preferred. Remember, these amounts are averages and will vary depending upon the breed, size and age of your cat.
